As mentioned at the beginning, and as is the case with 6/8 and 12/8, the right-hand motion is down/up/down, down/up/down, down/up/down. The second chord is unusual because it is a G suspended2 chord with the 2, or A, in the bass. There are more suspensions in the second part with the G in the bass of the D chord, and the D in the A chord at the end. I think that it is the bass runs (D, F#, A/ D, F#, E) that stand out though. |
